Shredding and sorting

- The shredding consists in the crushing of domestic scrap, vehicles out of use and electric and electronic waste to pieces of 10-20cm.
- ¿Why the size of 10-20cm? Once shredded to this size with the appropriate machinery, it allows us to separate the different components of raw materials that make up the product.

- The action of shearing is simply adapting the scrap to standard sizes for the melting process in the steel mills.
- As it does not contain other elements other than iron, the process required for this material is simply shearing.

Descontamination
of vehicles out of use
- This activity is carried out in the sites of Molins de Rei, l'Arboç, Palau d'Anglesola and Gallur.
- Applying the "Centro Autorizado de Tratamiento" regulations, we achieve the inertization of the vehicle and meet the objectives set for the recycling of raw materials and recoverable parts of said car.
- This process also includes the deregistration of private and industrial vehicles.
